The Association of Event Venues has announced its Annual General Meeting will take place on 22 September at the NEC, Birmingham.
The AGM will see each of the AEV Working Groups reporting back on issues such as electrical testing, the move from BS8901 to ISO2012-1, Global Reporting Initiative on sustainability benchmarking, the forthcoming AEV Salary Survey and venue security.
"The AGM provides an opportunity for member venues to meet and to discuss the key issues of the day. The feedback from the Working Groups is one of the most important aspects of the AGM and there are some very important issues to be discussed, as well as successes to be reported." said interim AEV director, Chris Skeith.
