Oakley and McNair launch Global Connect UK

Travel trade professionals Roger Oakley and Vanessa McNair have formed a new consultancy, Global Connect UK, which will provide outsourced sales and marketing to hotels, destination management companies (DMCs), convention and visitor bureaus, tourists boards, tour operators, agents and airlines.
Global Connect UK’s founders say it will provide a service to bodies looking to heighten brand awareness and increase market share for ‘the client’ in both the meetings, incentive, convention and event and leisure sectors of the UK travel market.
“We believe that in this constantly evolving trading environment, relationships are the key to successful selling,” says Oakley.
The companies current portfolio of DMCs include BtG Event Solutions in Russia and the Euro-Host Group in Spain, Austria, Portugal, Madeira, The Azores, Czech Republic, Romania, Hungary, Turkey.
