Reed Travel Exhibitions (RTE) has appointed a new exhibition manager for its Gulf Incentive Business Travel and Meetings exhibition (GIBTM) in the Middle East.
Lloyd Kenyon, who previously worked for RTE in Dubai for five years as project manager of the Dubai World Trade Centre events and exhibitions department, takes on the new role with immediate effect. He replaces the outgoing Graeme Barnett, who is leaving to take the helm at GIBTM’s European stablemate, EIBTM.
Kenyon’s career to-date has also seen him open RTE’s office in Dubai Media City in 2005 and playing a major role in the development and growth of the Arabian Travel Market exhibition.
“This is an extremely exciting time to take on the role of exhibition manager for GIBTM,” he comments. “The event is firmly established within the Gulf and is in an excellent position to drive and shape an expanding sector from both a regional and international exhibitors’ perspective, while attracting even more regional trade visitors.”
GIBTM takes place each March at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.
