Association Congress opens its doors in London

Over 165 delegates attended the opening of the fourth Association Congress in London this week, for association leaders, executives and specialists in conferences, events, membership and education.
The two day event at the Millennium Gloucester Conference Centre, organised by Association Resource, is this year concentrating on enhancing performance, value and ROI for organisations, members and delegates.
Event chairman, Dr Elling Hamso from European Event ROI Institute, says: "Delegates need to take home new knowledge, skills and personal relationships which will enable them to have a greater impact on the success of their organisations. This is the only way that delegates can get a ROI from attending this kind of event.
"I am very excited about being Congress chairman this year and I think we are going to move some boundaries and make a big step towards a new level of congress planning, execution and evaluation."
Across the two day conference, delegates will be able to take part in targeted practical session on reducing costs, improving efficiency, developing new products and alternative revenue streams, as well as building up and securing membership base.
