The director of Harrogate International Centre (HIC) is stepping down in October after 14 years at the venue.
During his five-year stint as director, Stuart Quin oversaw the expansion of the venue, with an additional events hall and the Queen’s Suite breakout facility. He also oversaw the £10.8m restoration of the Royal Hall; a Grade II listed building.
More recently, he helped lay the foundations for the venue’s 3,300sqm expansion, to begin later this month.
“My time with HIC has been absorbing and productive,” says Quin. “I am proud to be associated with a venue which has maintained, despite increasing competition, a loyal client base. I am eternally grateful to all those who have so generously and consistently supported the business.”
