De Veres Venues (DVV) has launched Welcome Home for Heroes, an initiative which offers military personnel the opportunity to stay at one of its 25 participating properties for £1 per night.
The offer is open to all people returning from an operational tour of duty and also to the Unit Rear Party personnel, who support families of soldiers on tour, bereaved families and casualty notifying officers.
“We estimate there will be around 20,000 military personnel returning from duty over the coming year. By extending this offer to the families of our returning heroes, this initiative reflects our commitment and support for our armed forces,” says DVV CEO, Tony Dangerfield.
Participating venues include Wychwood Park near Crewe, Barony Castle near Edinburgh and Wokefield Park in Berkshire.
