RSA House, a venue in Central London, has experienced its busiest month of the year following the relaunch of its historic Vaults, and the opening of Rawthmells, the RSA’s new enlightenment coffeehouse.

November saw 127 events take place across the event spaces at RSA House, with 6,749 delegates coming through the doors. These events spanned sectors including; consultancy and professional services, insurance, technology, legal, gambling, banking and healthcare.

As part of these events the catering team opened 1,051 bottles of wine and fizz, and served 10,000 canapés, while spending 1,600 hours in the kitchen creating recipes inspired by 16 different countries.

Looking ahead to December, RSA is set to welcome four couples for exclusive use weddings at weekends, the BBC for filming of a Downing Street scene, along with over 1,250 guests attending corporate Christmas parties.

Emma Gaymer, sales and marketing manager at RSA House, commented: “Despite having a partial redevelopment taking place over 9 months in 2018, we have experienced a strong year for events at RSA House. We are delighted that the recent relaunch of the Vaults and opening of Rawthmells earlier in October has had such a positive impact on our pipeline of events, both to the end of the year and into 2019. We continue to welcome corporate clients from a number of different sectors and look forward to extending our reach even further next year.”
