The Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) hosted The Guardian for its third annual Sustainable Business Awards.
The event, sponsored by MSC, took place 16 May 2013 in the grand Florence Hall of the RIBA, gathering over 300 experts in sustainability to the venue.
The evening began with fun and interactive food demos to help educate guests on the issues of sustainable food sourcing. Tastings were provided by Moshi Moshi with a Sushi table and Calum Richardson of Stonehaven serving fish and chips as well as an MSC sponsored chocolate fishing game to represent sustainable fishing.
Caterers Ampersand served guests with a selection of delicious canapés made using sustainable ingredients followed by an awards ceremony hosted by Jo Confino, The Guardian’s Sustainability Editor.
Guest judges attending included influential thinkers from the world of sustainable business, from Liz Goodwin and David Grayson, to Andrew Horton and Sally Uren all rewarding both innovation and impact in corporate sustainability projects.
