Venue finding brand Conferences Group’s website Venues.net has reported a 10 per cent increase in enquiries since launching its iPhone application, Venues.
Since its introduction three weeks ago, 1050 people have downloaded the service, which gives bookers access to over 10,000 venues globally. Users can pinpoint international venues on a map; view images, room layouts, floor plans, conference dimensions and make enquiries.
“The 10 per cent increase in enquiries speaks for itself and is proof that it is the way forward for conference venue booking,” says Venues.net MD Simon Thompson. “Clients often require our services when they are out of the office.”
