A leading international publishing and media company is looking for an experienced media sales , event sales or sponsorship sales person to join their growing Conference Division. You will be selling sponsorship packages of varying sizes from £5k - £25K across a portfolio of very niche, targeted conferences aimed at very senior level professionals.
As the Sponsorship Sales Executive you will need to have strong skills in lead generation, new business development coupled with a consultative approach including; identifying potential companies and brands, making initial contact with these potentials, identifying their current marketing activity and future requirements, developing the business relationship and closing the business.
You must have a minimum of 12 -18 months experience as a sales executive in a B2B sales environment, selling media space, events or sponsorship – ideally conference sponsorship sales. You must be able to demonstrate a successful track record in generating your own leads and hitting targets through new business generation.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your consultative sales skills, build your own accounts and clients with Blue-chip companies. You will gain valuable experience in sponsorship sales and have the opportunity to shine and progress in a successful, reputable global media provider.
