Silverstone Conference and Exhibition Centre, situated at the home of British Motor Racing, has joined Venues of Excellence. The venue sits adjacent to the iconic racetrack that has been the home of British Motor Racing for nearly 70 years.  It is the consortium’s 37th member.

“Silverstone Conference and Exhibition Centre is a memorable, flexible space with stunning design.  It is the first motorsport track to join Venues of Excellence and we thoroughly look forward to welcoming them on board, whilst we support their on-going growth,” comments executive director of Venues of Excellence, Mandy Jennings.

“They have a dynamic, exciting offering and add a real point of difference to our member base.  Organisers and bookers come to us because of the professionalism, quality and focus demonstrated across all our venues.  Silverstone Conference and Exhibition Centre exemplify all these qualities in a unique and creative environment.”

Silverstone Conference and Exhibition Centre hosts meetings and conferences from 2 to 1,000 delegates. The exhibition space has capacity for 3,000 and access for motor vehicles. With over 600 acres of land and four circuits, events can be enhanced with a wide range of driving and team building experiences.

“We look forward to the benefits of being a member of Venues of Excellence,” comments Nick Read, commercial director from Silverstone Conference and Exhibition Centre.

“We are proud to be listed amongst the top venues in the country and feel now is the perfect time to join the consortium. Venues of Excellence have gone from strength to strength since its rebrand in June 2016.  It is more dynamic and important than ever and clearly positions the consortium members in front of the business events sector.”
