CN30 under Thirty: submit now

Young event professionals urged to submit entries before 17 October 2017

Nominate here

Conference News and eventtech specialists Cvent are pleased to announce the launch of CN30 Under Thirty, a new initiative to honour the conference and meetings industry’s top young talent.

Those under the age of 30 must be nominated in writing before 17 October 2017 by submitting a 200-word explanation of what they have achieved or have brought to the industry. An expert judging panel will review submissions before deciding which 30 event professionals make the grade.

The finalists will be invited to Camm & Hooper’s Victorian Bath House in Central London later in 2017 for an awards and networking evening.

The initiative aims to give a platform to these younger members of the conference and meetings industry, highlighting their outstanding achievements and offering them opportunities to learn from each other and leading industry figures.

Liz Agostini, publishing director, CN, says, “The industry is not short of talent, but sometimes those in the early years of their careers can get drowned out in the noise. It’s time that we, as trade press, take these future leaders seriously and give them the appreciation they deserve.

“If you are working for an agency, corporation, association or destination management company and you think you have made an outstanding contribution to the conference or meetings sector, or you know someone else who has, then email us a 200-word outline about it.”

What the partners say

Cvent’s Judy Elvey says: “We are passionate about the next generation and the innovation they bring to the industry. We are proud to recognise and encourage rising talent and applaud the inspiring individuals featured.”

Darren Hart, director of sales at Camm & Hooper, says: “The growth of future leaders is the foundation of our business and is something we are passionate about. We look forward to working closely with the chosen 30.”
