The conference venue formerly known as ‘Wyboston Lakes’ has announced it is to be known in future as ‘Wyboston Lakes Resort’.
Situated on the Cambridgeshire/Bedfordshire border near to the market town of St. Neots, the venue is set in 380 acres of countryside and claims to be the largest, privately owned business and leisure destination in northern Europe.
While the conference and training side of the business is well established, in recent years Wyboston Lakes Hotel has invested in its leisure offering, creating the award winning Y Spa alongside a new restaurant and a full £2m bedroom refurbishment. There is also a golf course on the site.
Director of marketing Louisa Watson (pictured) says of the rebrand: “We are very proud of our reputation within the industry and with our guests, particularly in the conference, training and event market place. However, this new master brand of the Wyboston Lakes Resort will allow us to position both our business and our leisure offering to new clients more clearly and in a way that is much easier to see on our website, to book through all channels and to experience.”
She added that the hotel, spa and golf needed differentiation to ensure clarity for guests and wider appeal within the leisure and business stay sector. A new Waterfront Hotel, Spa & Golf brand has, thus, also been developed for the consumer market.
