The Grand Brighton on 1 September welcomed the Global PA Association for its Professional Members Day. The interactive day covered a broad range of topics that support professional development and connects and empowers secretaries, executive assistants and personal assistants.
The hotel’s Albert Room hosted 27 office professionals from the UK, Europe, Middle East, Far East and Australia to enjoy the luxury of The Grand Brighton and a diverse programme of inspirational speakers.
Topics included: ‘Discovering your colour personality and what it says about you’, ‘How to get the most from social media’, ‘Benefits of nutrition for energy performance’, ‘Event management’ and ‘The millennial generation in the workplace’. There was also the opportunity to stay overnight at the luxury hotel, as well as win some fabulous prizes, courtesy of local Sussex companies.
Launched by Rosemary Parr in 2006, the Global PA Association aims to raise the status and provide opportunities that no other can offer. Committed to developing the motivation and confidence of office professionals across the globe, as well as improve opportunities for career progression.
