Creative workspace pioneer Spaces has opened a 16,000 sq.ft. business hub in City Point in the heart of the capital’s financial district. It is the third London location for the workspace specialist.
Spaces City Point is near to Liverpool Street and Moorgate stations and offers flexible workspace set over several floors including a shared space, breakout networking areas, meeting rooms and offices. The hub also includes a café.
City Point is the ninth Spaces location to open in the UK by the company which was founded in 2006 in Amsterdam. The two other hubs in the capital are located off Oxford Street and in Park Royal Business Park in West London.
The other UK locations include Liverpool, Glasgow and Brighton. Internationally, the company has a network spanning the Netherlands, USA, Australia, Japan, Singapore, Mexico, France, India and Israel.
More openings are planned this year for countries including Brazil, China, Canada, Italy, Finland, Norway, Switzerland and Spain.
Richard Morris, UK CEO, Spaces said: “We recognise that there is a growing demand for more diverse workspace – people want space that works for them in terms of style, size and layout instead of the more traditional ‘one size fits all’ approach. This is what Spaces was created to provide.
“Based on the experience of our other Spaces locations, we expect to see interest from a range of different company sizes and sectors, including SMEs, start-ups, the self-employed – as well as larger companies looking to give their workforce some more flexibility.”
