Hilton’s latest UK property opening, Hilton Garden Inn Manchester Emirates Old Trafford, is right on-site at the home of Lancashire County Cricket Club, and is the brand’s first property in Manchester.
With 450,000 visitors to the stadium each year, the new hotel provides accommodation right next to the stadium’s large events suites, including The Point conference centre.
The hotel offers 150 guestrooms, with 85 overlooking the cricket pitch.
Delegates staying at the hotel can make use of free W-iFi and the 24-hour Business Centre and there is complimentary on-site car parking.
There is a restaurant, Garden Grille, along with a 24 hour Pavilion Pantry for snacks and drinks and prices start from £89.
The adjacent Emirates Old Trafford venue has had a busy summer, hosting Test Match cricket, conferences and events and concerts for up to 50,000 people.
“Hilton is expanding its portfolio in locations across the UK, and now welcomes guests at some of the country’s leading sports stadiums, including The Stadium of Light, Ageas Bowl, Wembley and now Emirates Old Trafford,” said Simon Vincent, executive vice-president and president, Europe, Middle East and Africa, Hilton.
The hotel is also adjacent to the Old Trafford Metrolink, and three miles from Manchester city centre.
