CBA Events expands team

Full service event management company CBA Events have expanded this month, with four new members joining the dynamic team.

Katie Stuart joins as events co-ordinator with a background in the outdoor and travel industry she will support the events planning team. Originally from Buckinghamshire, she has recently moved to the Lake District after years of holidaying in Cumbria.

Claire Richards has joined the busy venue finding department having gained experience in the industry at Armathwaite Hall and Spa on the shores of Bassenthwaite. Originally from New Orleans, Richards studied Public Relations at Louisiana State University.

Ellie Jones will focus on the marketing side of the company as well as venue finding. Moving from London three years ago with a degree in English and Journalism, she joins the company from local motorsport team M-Sport.

As the official-in-house activity provider for the Graythwaite Estate, CBA Events has appointed Matt Slater to not only look after this site but live events in general. Slater has previous held several chief instructor positions so clients will be in good hands for all those keen to get outdoors.

Sara Young, CBA events director, commented: “It’s an exciting time for us at CBA Events with new ventures and more new client accounts to manage this year.

“In order to service these, we were keen to expand the team and we’re really pleased to welcome them all, bringing a range of experience and fresh ideas to the company.”
