AIPC confirms London for 2018 Annual Conference

The International Association of Convention Centres (AIPC) will host its 2018 Annual Conference at ExCel London.

The event, which will be held rom 1-4 July 2018, brings together senior level professionals from the world’s leading international convention centres.

With a commitment to intentionally deliver the best possible delegate experience, ExCeL will use the conference to showcase its latest innovations in convention centre management, from the venue’s fresh approach to food and drink to its new facilities for training and development.

Delegates will also experience the very best of what London has to offer, seeing first-hand how the Capital welcomes world-class events, such as Hewlett Packard Enterprise and the ESC (European Society of Cardiology) Congress.

ExCeL London CEO, David Pegler, who has recently been appointed to the board of directors for AIPC, comments: “I am delighted that ExCeL and London have been chosen to host AIPC’s Annual Conference next year. As a venue, we are committed to the innovation that AIPC stands for and are keen to work with colleagues, from all over the world, to set the very highest standards for our industry. I am passionate about the role every convention centre plays as a driving force for commerce and trade and believe venues form an integral part of any city’s business infrastructure. I look forward to welcoming everyone to ExCeL next year and showcasing our unique approach to delivering great event outcomes.”
