Top Banana brings in new account manager

Top Banana has appointed Charlotte Jarman as account manager. Jarman will be based at the company’s Midlands head office working on clients in the financial, automotive and nutrition sectors.

Jarman had in illustrious start to her career in events, winning the ‘Eventice’ competition to secure her first job in the industry with Blue Hat Group, straight from Leeds Beckett University, where she studied Event Management. She went on to work at ITV before joining Top Banana.

Client services director Jill McKinnon said: “We’ve been looking to recruit the right account manager for some time. As soon as we met Charlotte we knew she was the right fit – her energy and passion really shone through. Plus her experience, both in an agency and with an in-house events team, means she understands events from both sides. Her ability to get to grips with a client’s strategy was an important part of the skill set we were looking for too.”

Jarman says she was attracted to Top Banana in part because of the company’s impressive client base. “They work for some great brands, building strong, long-term relationships, which shows how much clients value what they do. It’s good to be working with such an experienced, committed group of people. They’ve made me feel really welcome and I already feel like part of the team.”

McKinnon added: “Charlotte was thrown in at the deep end with three client events in her first week and delivered in spades!”
