Industry consultancy Sequoia Partnership has teamed up with Venue Success, a new training programme run by venue-finding experts Rachelle Jailer Valladares and Sebastiaan Douma, with a view to delivering specialist venue training for venues across the UK.
Sequoia Partnership’s MD, Samme Allen comments: “This is a great fit with the consultancy. Venue Success training has a real focus on unique and unusual venues and is led from the venue buyer perspective; their content is both innovative and bespoke as it leads to increased conversion rates, one of Sequoia Partnership core client objectives.”
Sequoia Partnership, says Allen, focuses on strategic venue management and business development across the meetings industry’s supply chain with a focus on unique and unusual venues.
The half-day programme delivered in-house or at a specialist training venue will enable venue sales executives to learn what the agent really needs from the RFP process, critical negotiation points and how to manage the commission structure and site inspection.
Venue Success co-founder, Sebastiaan Douma adds: “By joining with the Sequoia Partnership, Venue Success will be able to help more companies improve their reactive marketing from enquiry to contract.”
Sequoia Partnership co-founder Anthony Hyde left the business in January.
