Comedian Hugh Dennis to present Hire Space Awards

Comedian Hugh Dennis, known for BBC show Mock the Week and for presenting Radio 4’s The Now Show, is to present the Hire Space Awards ceremony at Landing Forty Two on 24 October 2017.

The awards are designed to celebrate innovation and quality of service, and organisers say the expect to draw 200 events industry professionals for the event to Landing Forty Two, London’s highest dedicated events space.

Catering will be by Moving Venue and live music, and entertainment is on the agenda.

Hire Space event producer Felicity Cator says: “We’re incredibly excited to have Hugh presenting the Hire Space awards. He’s the ideal host for this event. It promises to be a fantastic night.”

The awards categories include: Modern Marketing, Modern Sales, Popular Venues, and Progressive Venues. The night will also feature a new “Unsung Hero” award for the professional with the biggest hidden impact on the events industry in 2017, and two separate awards for professional event booking teams.

The Hire Space Awards are taking place on the last night of EventLAB 2017, the company’s two-day event for professional event organisers.
