Record growth for IP EXPO Manchester

Attendance at IT enterprise event IP EXPO Manchester, at Manchester Central, grew 30% this year, making it the fastest growing edition of the European event series.

IP EXPO Manchester, in the second half of May, showcased the latest IT innovations during the free-to-attend event, further fuelling the city’s growth as a business and technology hub.

Bradley Maule-Ffinch, portfolio director EMEA, said: “IP EXPO Manchester is our fastest growing event and easily the largest enterprise IT event in the north. Now in its third year, with a 30% year-on-year growth and with often complex technology and internet requirements on 92% of exhibiting stands, Manchester Central works hard to understand our needs.

“The connectivity provided by venues is a reflection on our show as a technology event and I am pleased to say that Manchester Central has continued to support us by always ensuring excellent Wi-Fi and connectivity for our event.”

Elizabeth Faulkner, assistant CEO at Manchester Central, added: “IP EXPO has experienced massive success since the inaugural northern event at Manchester Central in 2015.

“The city’s tech sector is booming and Manchester Central continues to invest in its digital infrastructure, making it the ideal destination and venue for events of this kind as we have the capabilities to meet the needs of the industry leaders who attend the event.”

IP EXPO Manchester will return to Manchester Central in April 2018.
