Leicestershire-based full-service event management agency Ashfield Meetings & Events has expanded its UK team with nine new recruits following new client wins.
The nine new recruits all joined the business in June and will be based in Ashfield’s European hub office in Ashby-De-La-Zouch.
The agency says recent new business and client wins in the healthcare sector have prompted the new appointments and expects more new starters in the coming months.
The new starters are spread across the business with fresh talent joining the finance, venue sourcing and creative teams. The rest of the group will sit within the agency’s operational teams.
Helen Capelin (head of operational excellence) described the new appointees as “a hugely talented group with wide ranging backgrounds, skillsets and experience”.

In 2015 Ashfield M&E managed 1,750 meetings and events in 52 countries, looking after over 120,000 delegates.
