Yorkshire-based event production specialists Universal Live have strengthened their senior team with the appointment of Marc Allen, former account director at Blitz GES, as a senior project manager.
Allen (pictured) joins the Universal Live senior team with over 13 years of experience working within the live event industry. He is no stranger to Universal Live, having spent six years as operations and project manager with the company before moving on to Blitz GES, where he managed the contract at Manchester Central.
Speaking about his new appointment, Allen said: “Working for Universal Live will give me the opportunity to get back out on the road working with a variety of top class clients across the industry. I am looking forward to working with old friends and colleagues that I previously worked with for many years but I am also looking forwards to working with new ones, too. It is a very exciting time to be a part of Universal Live, they are constantly looking to expand and grow their expertise and I am very excited to be able to experience that journey with them.”

Universal Live specialises in sound, lighting, vision, stage and scenery, power and content and says it has been a “momentous year” for the company, having won several new contracts.
