The Ned opened its doors to Grass Roots Meetings & Events on 2 May, hosting 45 clients in the new landmark London venue from Soho House & Co.

The event was part of a series of Grass Roots events that give clients rare opportunities to see key venues before they open to the public. A full site tour was followed by food and drink in the sixth-floor meeting rooms.

Set in the former Midland Bank building in the heart of the City, The Ned boasts six Grade I-listed meeting rooms and two outdoor terraces available to hire on the historic and fully-restored sixth floor. There are also nine restaurants and 252 bedrooms.

Grass Roots managing director David Taylor said: “As part of our strategic meetings management consultancy, we pride ourselves on being able to get our clients access to the most exciting new hotel and venue openings. The Ned is a superb property, developed and managed to the exceptional standards that you would expect from Soho House & Co. It was a pleasure to host our most important clients in such a delightful venue.”
