The Jockey Club to launch new corporate teambuilding package at Sandown Park

A new collection of teambuilding activities and corporate events will be launched in June 2017 at The Jockey Club’s Sandown Park Racecourse under the name of Sandown Park Business Adventures.

Exclusive to Sandown Park Racecourse, the Business Adventure programme involves new activities including: ‘Skywalking’ – a treetop challenge, ‘Golf and Footgolf’ – an icebreaking challenge for all ages, ‘Go karting’ – karting on Sandown Park’s premier Daytona Kart Circuit, and ‘Ski slope’ – dry slope skiing with expert instruction.

Dan Smyth, business development executive, said: “The launch of Sandown Park Business Adventures ties all of our activities and new pursuits together to offer affordable, tailor-made packages for team building and corporate events. The space at Sandown Park Racecourse allows for delegates to experience a range of team adventures in one central location.

The activities have been engineered to be as weather-proof as possible with rain considered an additional challenge to the team building pursuits; however, we also offer a variety of indoor activities to compliment the outside programme.”

Sandown Park Business Adventures meeting package, which caters for between 25-200 delegates, uses the newly refurbished ‘Owners and Trainers’ meetings suite and includes breakfast, teas/coffees, snacks and meeting facilities. It includes a Pimm’s reception and BBQ on the Summer Lawn to finish the day.
