Wildgoose has announced that two of its longest serving employees have been promoted to new roles within the company. Nick Aitken now holds the post of head of product development and Sheridan Roberts takes on the role of head of events.
Joining Wildgoose back in May 2012 as a freelancer, Roberts soon moved up the ranks to become a senior project & events manager. Nick joined a few years later in April 2014 taking on the same role to support Wildgoose as it continued to grow.
With plans to continue its expansion, Wildgoose have recognised the need to realign its operations team. operations director, Peter Barker commented: “Both Nick and Sheridan have played a pivotal role in helping Wildgoose grow and evolve over the years. Their contribution to the operational side of the business, which has included everything from product development through to client liaison and event delivery means that they are perfectly placed to help take the Operations Team to the next level.”
He added: “The client brief has changed a great deal in the past year and we’ve seen a big shift away from traditional team building towards more complex and purposeful events. A large amount of what we deliver now requires learning and development outcomes or is designed to support brand activation, employee on boarding right through to gamified recruitment. Realigning Nick and Sheridan’s roles and recognising their expertise ensures we are equipped to continue developing our suite of products in response to this shift, and to fulfil these more complex briefs.”
