Free to attend pharmaceutical exhibition and conference, Making Pharmaceuticals, comes to the Ricoh Arena for the first time later this month.
Organisers forecast the event, which takes place 25-26 April, will be the largest edition yet.
Making Pharmaceuticals aims to connect professionals from around the UK and is set to host more than 120 exhibiting companies and 1,000 representatives from the country’s pharmaceutical sector over the two-day show.
The event, now in its fourth year, will offer a four-stream conference programme, with 80 speakers.
Clinton Sturdey, sales director for Making Pharmaceuticals, said: “This year we are expecting our biggest ever turnout in terms of exhibitors and attendees for Making Pharmaceuticals.
“The Ricoh Arena is a very good venue, it has a lot of top facilities on-site, and it’s within a two-hour drive of 75% of the UK population, making it very easy for exhibitors and visitors to get to.
“We’re very excited about the wide-range of content that we will have on offer this year.”
The 2017 exhibition is supported by 17 industry leading organisations. Last year’s event was held at the National Motorcycle Museum.
Andy Gibb, managing director of the Ricoh Arena, said: “We’re delighted that the organisers of Making Pharmaceuticals have chosen the Ricoh Arena as the venue for their biggest ever show.
“We look forward to working with the organisers in hosting this year’s event and using our experience from hosting other industry-leading exhibitions to help Making Pharmaceuticals 2017 be the best year yet.”
