Conference organisers are being invited to explore hosting their events at the 2018 International Business Festival, which returns to its home city of Liverpool, 12-18 June 2018.
Held every two years, the IBF brings together industry leaders, investors and influencers from across the UK and around the world. It provides opportunities for business people to connect, access expertise and do deals.
Organisers claim that, since its launch in 2014, the festival has received 90,000 day visits and facilitated £600m worth of business for UK firms.
As well as a programme of expert panels, workshops and keynotes, the festival also plays host to dozens of industry-specific events – which in 2016 included the Wi-Fi Global Congress, the Horasis Indian investment conference and the IBDE Global Economic Forum.
The third edition of the festival, once again to be held at the Exhibition Centre Liverpool, is shaping up to be the most ambitious yet. Each day of the 2018 festival will focus on one of nine core themes – from global logistics to manufacturing to the creative industries.
“With the International Business Festival, conference organisers have the chance to tap into the global reach of the world’s biggest business festival,” says festival director, Ian McCarthy (pictured). “The development of our programme around nine key high-growth sectors will additionally enable event holders to provide additional value to their delegates, who will be able to access the industry-specific content and networking opportunities that the festival provides.”
