LVP launches incentives for charity event organisers

Lime Venue Portfolio has introduced a series of incentives, which, it says, will help charitable organisations meet the cost of hosting fundraising events.

The proposition includes exclusive rates, the donation of a raffle prize connected to one of the portfolio’s leisure or sporting venues, and 5% of the total food and drink cost of the event given back as a donation to the charity.

“Charities are really important to us. Many of our venues within the portfolio are themselves charities; for example Edinburgh Zoo and HMS Belfast. Our sporting stadiums also support charitable organisations, including the Edgbaston Foundation and the Harlequins Foundation.

“We understand the importance of fundraising for charities and the value a great event can bring to this objective,” said Jo Austin, sales director, Lime Venue Portfolio. “We wanted to take this commitment further and create a genuine proposition for charities that allows them to hold more effective fundraising events.”

The LVP proposition is open to UK registered charities and includes a dedicated charity event expert to advise the organisations in every aspect of their event.

The charity packages include complimentary room hire for meeting organisers in the run up to their event, as well as a specific login area on the Lime Venue Portfolio website, where charities can access unique promotions and offers, tailored for them, throughout the venue portfolio.

“We feel we’ve created a really enticing product for charities, that we hope means they can raise more money for important causes across the country,” Austin added.
