Leeds CHS speakers to focus on industry needs

Liz Taylor, performance coach Jamie Edwards (pictured), Simon Clayton and Nicola Cook are some of the speakers lined up to address industry specific needs at the Conference and Hospitality Show next month.

The CHS returns, 4 April, at the Leeds first direct arena and CEO Emma Cartmell, said: “This year’s programme contains a wide variety of topics chosen specifically to address the needs of the events industry. We researched our visitors and also the needs of specific groups within the sector to define a programme of topics to address their requirements.

“For example, at the recent ABPCO conference, members asked for education about data protection and sales techniques so we have specifically sourced two experts to speak on these subjects.”

The show will feature two stages: The Event Management Stage with educational topics designed to encourage and inform event organisers and venue bookers, and the PA Life Stage with speakers specifically chosen to inspire and educate PAs and EAs.

The two stages are within the exhibition hall and the expected 200 exhibitors will include venues, hotels, technology providers and other industry suppliers.

The show, now in its eighth year, expects 800 event buyers from across the UK.
