Contract and events caterer, Kudos has launched an initiative that rewards its top staff with extra holiday.
Employee of the month gets two extra days off a year and a £50 voucher, while the employee of the year can earn themselves an extra five days holiday.
Kudos employs 400 staff throughout its venues and delivered-in catering service Kudos Delivered and says the initiative was taken as part of a commitment to support a healthy work-life balance for its employees, many of whom work unsociable hours.
The first employee to receive the new monthly reward is Andy Wood, head chef at Penshurst Place and Gardens in Kent.
Commenting on the achievements of his colleague, Peter Bruun, Kudos senior partner said: “Andy is the type of person that makes Kudos more than just a workplace. His hard work, determination and commitment to ensuring not only a smooth transition of this newly-won contract, but also the ongoing development, has been exemplary and he is very deserving of a well-earned break.”
Other venues run by Kudos include Gibson Hall, Central Hall Westminster and the Brighton Centre.
