Graham Hill leaves Squaremeal

After nearly 22 years’ service, show director Graham Hill is leaving Squaremeal to join the Event Management Consultancy group.

Hill has been a key figure in the Venues + Events portfolio, overseeing the growth of the annual Squaremeal restaurant guide into a trade show.

Hill also played an integral part in the development of and other digital products.

CEO & co-founder of Squaremeal, Simon White, commented: “Graham’s passion for the product and the industry it serves, loyalty to the company, fastidious attention to detail and work ethic have been essential to the growth and success of Squaremeal and the Venues + Events portfolio over the past two decades and more. We wish him all the very best in his future career.”

MD of Events Management Consultancy, Eddie Hoare, added: “We are delighted to be welcoming Graham into the EMC fold, where he will be able to apply his vast industry knowledge and experience to a range of clients, while also helping to grow not only the Events Management Consultancy brand, but also the Exclusive Heritage Venues portfolio that we recently acquired.”

Hill said he was proud of his achievements at Squaremeal, but said: “It’s time to move on and do some different things and I very much look forward to the variety afforded by consultancy work, as well as working closely with the EMC team, particularly Eddie Hoare and Guy Rodger, both of whom I’ve known for over 20 years.
