European and Stateside luxury hotel portfolio Dorchester Collection has appointed Robert Whitfield (pictured) as regional director UK and general manager at The Dorchester.
He will take up his post on 8 May 2017. In his new role, Whitfield will oversee operations and strategies for the London hotel as well as for the other two UK properties in the Dorchester Collection: 45 Park Lane, London and Coworth Park, Ascot.

Whitfield’s most recent position was regional vice-president and general manager for Four Seasons Resort Hualalai, Hawaii, where he has worked since 2007. He also worked as a GM for three years at Four Seasons, Silicon Valley, and six years at Four Seasons Resort, Nevis.
