Central Hall Westminster has announced three new appointments for its events team following the retirement of its head of events.
After nine years at the helm of central London’s largest purpose-built conference venue, Stuart Ryding is retiring and Lucy Deller taking over the role after working at the venue for seven years as event manager.
The change at the top has led to the creation of two further positions the venue’s events business grows.
Jenny Henderson has been appointed as a new event manager and comes with experience as an event professional including at London-based caterer, Party Ingredients. She also worked as senior event coordinator for wine company Villa Maria in New Zealand.
Additionally, Claudia Baldassarre has been appointed event executive. Claudia joins from Anglia Ruskin University London, where she had responsibility for organising charity fundraising events.
Central Hall MD Paul Southern comments: “It is always sad to say goodbye to staff who have made a significant contribution to the success of the venue and we wish Stuart the very best of luck for his retirement. However, Lucy has an excellent track record at Central Hall, so Stuart is handing over to a very capable successor. We welcome Jenny and Claudia to our dynamic events team and are looking forward to working with them.”
