Belfast Waterfront scoops global site of the year double

Belfast Waterfront is celebrating global recognition as officially the world’s best Kentico website. Northern Ireland’s leading conference and entertainment centre scooped not one but two internationally contested accolades in the technology and website platform’s annual Site of the Year awards.

The organisation’s website was built by locally-owned agency, i3 Digital, with the Dargan Road company entering Belfast Waterfront in Kentico’s Best Tourism, Hospitality and Entertainmentcategory.

The recognition comes after opening of the venue’s brand new 7000sqm state-of-the-art conference facility, and the two website awards confirm the digital side of the organisation matches its physical stature and ambitions for the future.

i3 Digital’s managing director, Adrian Bradley, stated his pride in the award wins. “Having undergone extensive re-development and re-design with i3 Digital in 2016, Belfast Waterfront’s globally-envied website is an example of how Northern Irish businesses are not just competing, but winning globally. With over 25,000 Kentico websites deployed in over 80 countries, this is a huge win for both organisations.
