Enjoy a virtual walk through Millbrook Venues at International Confex

Millbrook Venues has confirmed that it will be exhibiting at International Confex 2017 on stand C28C.

The team will be available to introduce those new to Millbrook Venues to the site and able to answer any questions from delegates looking for an unforgettable space to host an event.

Millbrook’s in-house rigging partner and one of the suppliers for all things audio-visual, Hawthorn, will be debuting a dynamic virtual reality experience.

Existing and prospective customers will be able to have a fully immersive experience of Millbrook Venues’ Concept 1. Using an HTC Vive, guests at the Event Production Show will be able to see the unrivalled space available at Millbrook and effectively visit the site whilst standing in London. The innovative technology will help event professionals think creatively about what they could do with the Venues.

Hawthorn and Millbrook Venues have been working together since 2005 to create impressive and unparalleled events on Millbrook’s site near Milton Keynes. In a self-contained and highly secure 700-acre proving ground, Millbrook has the space to offer unlimited possibilities with four unique venues. They can be creatively transformed depending on each customer’s needs. Hawthorn supports Millbrook across a wide range of events, the biggest including Cenex LCV and Company Car in Action.

Kevin Leaver, head of events, Millbrook Venues said: “We are delighted that Hawthorn has decided to create a virtual reality experience of Millbrook Venues as part of their launch activity, and look forward to offering people the opportunity to experience this for themselves whilst at the Event Production Show. International Confex is an important show for us and we look forward to meeting and introducing a whole new group of event managers, corporate customers and agencies to the numerous opportunities available at Millbrook Venues.”

Millbrook Venues will also be launching its Best of British activity day at the show, an innovative package which provides delegates with a chance to drive vehicles from iconic British brands such as Land Rover, McLaren and JCB. The package can be tailored to suit any budget, and includes venue hire of the Cubo, based at the heart of Millbrook’s Hill Route. It offers a rare opportunity to experience Millbrook’s famous tracks, not available to the general public.
