Staffs and Stoke bureau to come of age at Confex

The Staffordshire Stoke-on-Trent Conference Bureau says it will ‘come of age’ at this year’s International Confex, 1-2 March at Olympia London.

The Potteries-based bureau will celebrate its 21st birthday at London Olympia and will be bringing to the capital its newly appointed conference co-ordinator Claire Scott.

Previously the head of events at Staffordshire’s Moddershall Oaks, Scott took on her new role in November 2016, and says: “The Bureau has built-up such a great profile and reputation for itself over the past 21 years, and my main priority is to make sure it’s ‘business as usual’ as we move forwards into 2017, and beyond.”

Scott will be bringing to Confex copies of the bureau’s all-new Meetings on a Plate Conference Guide, introducing new member venues: Hoar Cross Hall Spa Resort, Wychwood Park, and Summit Hospitality – as well as full details of all 36 member venues, spread across one of the largest counties in England.

The bureau adds that its stand “will be located on E47C at the industry’s leading annual exhibition”.
