Pure Events appoints Nicola Roodt as new business development manager

Pure Events has announced the appointment of Nicola Roodt as new business development manager.

It is a newly created position at the West London-based event management agency.

Roodt started her career as a stage manager, training at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts and worked on a variety of theatre productions before moving to a business development role at Crazy Cow Events for two years.

“I believe that Nicola will be a great asset to the growing team,” says Charlotte Wilson, MD and founder of Pure Events. “She has that something special that we always look for when growing the team. I am sure she is going to achieve great things here.”

The agency reports 20% year-on-year for the last four years and, in 2016, recruited an operations director, two event managers, an events assistant and a new chairman. The company says it will continue recruiting in 2017.

“I am delighted to be working at Pure Events, and see an exciting future ahead of me here,” says Roodt. “ I have never worked for a full service event management agency, so I am looking forward to learning as much as I can and delivering excellent results for the company. The team here are so friendly and have made me feel part of the family already.”
