Promotions and more responsibility for the Barbican Business Events team will see all elements of corporate meetings and event activity brought together to deliver an end service for clients using Europe’s largest combined arts and conference venue.
Jackie Boughton’s role has been extended from head of sales and marketing to head of business events, in charge of a new look portfolio, which includes the management of the Barbican’s conference and event offering, the exhibition halls, as well as event sales and delivery for the Guildhall School of Music and Drama’s Milton Court. The changes will bring the various arms of the venue’s meetings and events offering together for the first time.
Lee Dobson’s role as head of event management has been expanded to include delivery and management of the wider event offering.
Graz Kalenik will remain general manager of the Exhibition Halls, while Oliver Hargreaves has been promoted to head of sales and Georgia Toppin has been promoted to deputy head of sales.
