The #myconfex marketing creative, that has been the main theme on this year’s show marketing, has been made an open source brand to allow even more event professionals engage with the industry through the exhibition. This means that anyone can take the #myconfex brand for use on their own material.
The advertising has already showcased almost a dozen event professionals from across the industry, with dozens more getting involved through social media. Organisers are also encouraging more and more event professionals to share their approach to the industry using the myconfex hashtag.
“#myconfex is all about underlining our show strategy of making event professionals, both in house and within third party or production agencies, feel at home at Confex,” commented Liz Agostini, event director. “Everything about the event, from the theming to the extensive conference programme, has been curated towards the needs of these professionals, and will speak to them as individuals and as a community.”
International Confex takes place 1-2 March at Olympia London and will be the biggest global gathering of #eventprofs in the UK. The show will co-locate with the Event Production Show and *office to give event professionals across every sector a place to find inspiration, products and services to make their events even better in 2017.
“Every event professional we speak to is asking for the same things; they want to know the new products and services that can make their life easier in 2017, and they want to be inspired creatively at every corner,” concludes Liz. “At International Confex, we’ll have both in abundance.”
