Eighty guests attended ACC Liverpool’s traditional annual London Showcase this week, held this year at Simpson’s-in-the-Strand.
Representatives from association, corporate and exhibition sectors, including from the British Association of Urological Surgeons, the Federation of Petroleum Suppliers and BBC Worldwide, came to network with ACC Liverpool and 19 city venue and supplier partners in the historic venue. Partners included Liverpool Convention Bureau, Liverpool Football Club, Virgin Trains
A short video showed highlights of the year at ACC Liverpool and included The Queen officially opening Exhibition Centre Liverpool and its adjoining hotel Pullman Liverpool. It also showcased the International Festival for Business and the Labour Party conference.
The event at Simpson’s was the 11th annual Showcase, by 19 city partners including Liverpool Convention Bureau, Liverpool Football Club, Staybridge Suites, The Shankly Hotel. Rum Warehouse and Virgin Trains.
ACC Liverpool director of conference and exhibition sales, Kerrin MacPhie, said: “Our Showcase provides an opportunity for us to highlight the latest developments and investments that have taken place across our venue, after all, enhancements are undertaken with clients and delegates in mind.
“We were joined by our destination partners which enabled us to showcase the quality business tourism offer and support that clients can expect for their events in Liverpool.”
