Event management, venue find, and accommodation agency Zibrant, has added to its international association business with three new contract wins.
In its PCO capacity, Zibrant will oversee conference logistics, event secretariat, exhibition and sponsorship, sales and delivery, social programmes, accommodation services, registration services and delegate transportation for the three healthcare clients.
The contract wins include the 27th Congress of the European Rhinological Society, to be hosted at QEII Centre in April 2018, an event expected to draw 1,600 rhinology, allergology and related facial plastic surgery specialists to the four-day event.
In October 2018 the Fifth Global Symposium on Health Systems Research will be held at ACC Liverpool, with 2,000 delegates expected to attend.
The third conference will take place in May 2017, A Vision for Multiple Sclerosis 2017 conference, sponsored by Medical Research Scotland. It aims to bring together 200 delegates to the Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC) for a one-day conference.
Caroline MacKenzie, director of association services at Zibrant, said: “We doubled our association business between 2015 and 2016 and are budgeting for additional growth in 2017 and 2018. The size and scope of Zibrant as well as our far reaching knowledge of the healthcare sector means we are well positioned to help facilitate the latest research exchange and treatment discussion that will encourage delegate numbers as well as enhance the overall delegate experience.”
Zibrant was recently acquired by BCD Meetings & Events (BCD M&E), a global player in the meetings and events industry, as it diversifies its events business in the European market.
