Freeman has joined the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA), a global community and knowledge hub for the international association meetings industry, representing more than 1,000 specialists in organising, transporting and accommodating international meetings and events.
The Freeman ICCA membership provides an opportunity for the company to gain insights on key international meetings and event industry trends, and build strategic relationships that will benefit Freeman customers and the global industry.
Freeman business development director, International, Julie Krueger, will participate in the “Tech Wizards look into their Crystal Balls!” panel session on new and emerging meetings and event technology solutions at the 55th ICCA Congress in Kuching, Malaysia taking place from 13-16 November.
“The Freeman ICCA membership is one of the many steps the company is taking as a thought leader in the industry. By leveraging ICCA’s international network, we’ll have the opportunity to connect with associations, companies, organisations and meeting planners across the globe, and further expand our international reach,” said Krueger. “I look forward to attending the Congress to meet with fellow ICCA members, network, share, and learn about the latest trends defining the international meetings and convention industry.”
Greg Cherry, business development director, Freeman EMEA said: “Thanks to Freeman’s global footprint, where we have more than 90 offices throughout the world, existing ICCA members will be able to reap the rewards of working with the same partner on all of their congresses and conferences irrespective of their location.”
Martin Sirk, CEO at ICCA added: “We are very happy to welcome Freeman and their expertise and services to the international association meetings community of over 1,000 ICCA member specialists in handling, transporting and accommodating international events, and 12,000 international associations.”
