Davies Tanner lands 27-venue consortium PR campaign

Venue consortium, London City Selection, has appointed tourism and business events communication agency, Davies Tanner, as its retained agency following a four-way competitive pitch.

Associate director Julia Gosling (pictured) will manage the campaign for LCS and focus on raising awareness of brand within the events industry. The consortium comprises dedicated conference spaces, hotels, museums and arts centres, all offering meetings and events space in the City’s Square Mile.

London City Selection chair, Oliver Hargreaves, said: “As part of a strategic review of our communications platforms, we are delighted to have appointed Davies Tanner to leverage the success of recent years and continue to build the profile of our collection. With four new venues having recently joined us, we’re looking forward to working with our new PR team to support our long term growth objectives and continue on our journey of being the ‘go to’ portal for event organisers and meeting planners booking venues in the City.”

The 27 venues currently within LCS include 47-58 Bastwick Street, 58VE, America Square, Baltic Exchange, Barbican, Bishopsgate Institute, City of London Club, etc.venues – St Pauls, Furniture Makers’ Hall, Gibson Hall, Guildhall, The HAC, DoubleTree by Hilton Tower of London, Holiday Inn Express Kings Cross, Ironmongers’ Hall, LSO St Lukes, The Mermaid, Middle Temple, The Montcalm London City, Museum of London, One Moorgate Place, Plaisterers Hall, Sadler’s Wells, St Brides Foundation, St Pauls Cathedral, The Steel Yard, Thistle City Barbican and Trinity House.
