More than 50 buyers and industry leaders gathered at 10-11 Carlton House Terrace for a dinner celebrating National Champagne Week supported by Piper Heidsieck.
Part of the Searcy’s Collection of venues and home to the British Academy, the history and heritage of the venue was the ideal surrounding for guests who were treated to canapés, a three-course meal, and three different Piper Heidsieck Champagnes, each chosen to complement the menu designed by Head Chef Greg Hillier.
“We wanted to offer our guests something different to celebrate National Champagne Week,” said Clare Arouche, head of business development at 10-11 Carlton House Terrace. “The dinner was a true reflection of the type of unique event we are capable of hosting in the grandeur of one of London’s most historic buildings. The support shown by both Piper Heidsieck and our caterers, Searcys made it truly special and we look forward to welcoming the guests back as clients in the near future.”
Catherine Sakkour, executive assistant to the director of development at the Open University added: “I had heard about 10-11 Carlton House Terrace on the grapevine but didn’t quite know what to expect when I arrived. The location is perfect, the British Academy links seamlessly to the themes of our event and the catering is superb. The team has made my first event as a planner so easy, they understood my needs and continually deliver. It is above all else a room with a view over The Mall and I look forward to using it to host our event at the end of November.”
