Jury’s Inn Oxford shows off new look with a Morris Minor

Jurys Inn Oxford has completed of the first stage of a £10.8m investment.

The hotel has been totally refurbished, including 168 existing bedrooms, with an additional 72 bedrooms due to launch in December 2016.

Decoration draws inspiration from Oxford’s manufacturing heritage, with now-defunct automaker Morris’ famous Minor featuring on the walls.

A new conference centre has been added to the hotel. It includes 15 meeting and event spaces, a dedicated boardroom with integrated power sockets for wireless meetings and new breakout areas with refrigerated drinks dispensers for refreshment breaks. The largest meeting room, the University Suite, can accommodate 300 people.

General manager of Jurys Inn Oxford, Chris Broderick, said: “We are excited to be re-launching Jurys Inn Oxford to the UK corporate market following the significant investment into the hotel and the team are really proud of the new event spaces and the new look bedrooms. We’re looking forward to event buyers visiting the hotel and using the new meeting spaces. ”

Jurys Inn Oxford is located just off the junction of A40 and A44, 10-15 minutes from Oxford city centre with easy transport links to the city. The hotel is easily accessible by car from the A34, A44 and M40 and is a 15 minute drive from Oxford train station. The closest airport is London Heathrow.
