This year’s Oysters’ annual Association Lunch keynote will be delivered by Ruud Janssen, co-founder of Eventcanvas.org Foundation.
The lunch also marks the official UK book launch of the Event Design Handbook, co-authored by Roel Frissen & Ruud Janssen, which further explores their innovative Event Canvas.
The event will be held at The Dorchester Hotel, Park Lane, London, 7 December 2016, and is for international Associations headquartered in the UK, hosted by The Oysters, the London-based association of international convention bureaux and tourist boards.
The #Eventcanvas, is a strategic management template for developing new or documenting existing events and conference models. Offering a graphical approach to the change management of events, it is designed to appeal to all stakeholders as an interactive way to see how the outcome of an event will deliver the results they need.
Organisations that have already implemented the model include: The Internet Society, the Federation of European Risk Management Associations, The International Olympic Committee and the United Nations ITU.
Event Design Handbook author Ruud Janssen will be on hand and will share case study information during an informal reception, before offering an interactive keynote to help associations develop their event outcomes, and an event’s ability to change behaviour.
