Crack out the Champagne at St. Pancras

Searcys’ St Pancras Grand has refurbished its outside champagne bar and wings which will now be available exclusively for events. Recent names to have used the venue include Q Hotels, Eurostar and Champagne Academy.

The repositioning and refurbishment includes new branding across the bar and wings, and a new seafood display. The bar has been transformed into a 360-degree space with additional seating as well as a designated seafood chef.

Q Hotels recently held its annual Leisure Agent’s Networking evening event at St. Pancras Grand’s recently refurbished champagne bar with representatives of all 26 hotels discussing business over the past year and future opportunities.

“The Champagne Bar is something quite special and our event was a real success,” said Linzi Haigh, director of leisure sales at Q Hotels. “The bar and wings provided the perfect setting for our guests whilst the impressive nature of our surroundings made the event really memorable for those attending. As well as the obvious transport benefits we were thrilled with the care and attention the staff offered to ensure the event was a success.”

St. Pancras Grand boasts the title of ‘Europe’s longest champagne bar’ offering a panoramic view of the entire station terminal under the wrought iron and glass ceiling. The location of the space offers something very different to any other venue with seating for 110 and plenty of standing room.

“When you look out across the station from the Champagne Bar it really does take your breath away,” said Iwona Bobowska, events manager at Searcys St Pancras Grand. “The surrounding area, the view and the space itself lends itself to stunning receptions and memorable events. From large champagne receptions to more intimate events, the Champagne Bar and its wing spaces are unique and we have already seen plenty of interest from event planners and bookers.”
