Smith & Wollensky launched its new events space with a special event in conjunction with ILEA UK on Wednesday. The restaurant, which opened last summer, delivered an evening of entertainment just for #eventprofs. The theme for the night was storytelling, and journalist and raconteur Nick Deluca shared his approach to telling stories, before the venue brought to life its own rich food, drink and service heritage in an interactive tour.
Smith & Wollensky can cater for up to 450 parties, 300 for conferences and has a range of high spec breakout rooms, all elegantly furnished in a classic art-deco style, in keeping with the Adelphi Building. The restaurant took the 120+ guests on a tour of the venue that included butchery, cocktail making, wine tasting and a chance to try the art of Sabrage.
